The 2016 Racing Blade evolve from their 2015 predecessors and include new leech seam schedules.
The result is ‘tuned exhaust’. The new 2016s are dramatically easier to use, their new release character gives the rider better low end, improved middle wind-range speed and faster/easier upper-end performance.
In 2015 the Loftsails Racing Blade earned ‘winning machine’ from Planchemag (France) and was the only design in full slalom tests to earn 10s for both planing power and general performance! WIND magazine awarded the Racing Blade ‘Testers’ Choice’ rating in their 2015 full-slalom sail design tests.
For 2016 the Racing Blade also enjoys new batten-system tuning that shifts the profile slightly forward, making the designs more reactive to trim variation.
Additionally, development for the 2016 line determined that monofilm delivers superior performance.
